Working alongside branding agency Accept & Proceed, we helped bring to life the category-leading Moleskine store concept, reimagining the retail space as a platform for the imagination.
Briefed to better engage their core audience, increase in-store spend, and elevate the brand’s product range beyond the iconic notebook, the solution focused on designing for a younger Millennial customer through a series of uniquely Moleskine experiences.
Iconography, Interaction, and the Blending of Analog and Digital
The brand’s iconic radiused corner and Moleskine logo are referenced subtly but consistently across interior elements. Zones for discovery and digital content are embedded in strategic locations throughout the space, giving visitors both inspiration and interaction throughout their journey.
A flexible display system provides a minimal and adaptable backdrop for Moleskine’s evolving product catalogue. Between displays, curated brand moments allow analogue and digital stories to converge, encouraging meaningful engagement and deeper brand understanding.
A Material Palette That Reflects Calm, Clarity, and Creativity
The space uses natural raw oak to introduce warmth and softness, while white table surfaces evoke the creative potential of a blank page. Slim metal fixture frames form a precise graphic grid, helping organise the store and focus attention on key product zones. These structural and material elements reinforce the brand’s longstanding ties to creative output and thoughtful design.
